This Privacy Policy explains how Future Edge Developments LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operating the AutoTowing platform at autotowing.app and its related web and mobile tools, collects, uses, and shares information when you register a vehicle, request a parking permit, or otherwise use the service.
Information we collect
When you use AutoTowing, you may provide:
- Your name and contact details, such as email address and phone number
- Vehicle information, such as license plate, state, make, model, and color
- The property, address, or unit you are visiting or associated with, and the dates or duration of your visit or permit
- Photos you upload, such as a vehicle or license plate image
- Any notes or additional details you enter into a permit or registration form
We also automatically collect standard technical information when you use the service, such as device type, browser, IP address, and usage activity, through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use your information
We use this information to:
- Create, validate, and manage parking permits and vehicle registrations
- Allow the property and its authorized parking operator to identify permitted vehicles and enforce parking rules on that property
- Communicate with you about your permit, registration, or request
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or misuse of the service
- Operate, maintain, and improve the platform
How your information is shared
AutoTowing is a tool used by properties and their authorized parking and towing operators. By submitting information through the service, you understand that it may be shared with:
- The property owner, property manager, or homeowners association associated with the location
- The towing or parking enforcement operator authorized to manage parking at that location
- Law enforcement or other authorities where required by law or to protect rights and safety
- Service providers who host and support the platform on our behalf
We do not sell your personal information.
Important: permits do not guarantee against towing
Submitting a registration or permit request through AutoTowing does not by itself guarantee that a vehicle will not be towed. Towing and enforcement decisions are made by the property and its authorized operator, not by AutoTowing. See our Terms of Use for more detail.
Data retention
We retain permit and registration information for as long as needed to provide the service, to support the property and operator in managing their records, and to comply with legal obligations. We then delete or de-identify it within a commercially reasonable period.
Security
We protect the information we store within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request deletion. Because AutoTowing operates on behalf of properties and their operators, some requests may need to be directed to, or confirmed with, the property or operator that uses the service. You can adjust or disable cookies through your browser settings.
Children
AutoTowing is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Third-party links
The service may link to sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of AutoTowing after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
